Baby Talk/ Baby Lips Giveaway

Hello all. I have been contemplating sharing things about my progress as a new mom and I decided to give a little baby talk today. Initially, I was to talk about my giveaway which is Baby Lips Balm but the title was great for my ramblings today. I am continuing the giveaways this week as I am in the Christmas spirit and I appreciate my followers!

First, I want to say, hats off to the mothers! I had no idea how motherhood really was. Yes, you see, you hear about, and read about motherhood but there is no real connection until you are on yourself! There is no way to relate or comprehend what it is like or what to do until you are one yourself and you care for the child yourself. I am not complaining, I am just saying I had no idea of what sleep deprivation was until now but moms still manage with zero sleep! I had no real understanding of "Just do it" until now. You have to just do whatever needs to be done when it needs to be done. The motherly attributes and instincts kick in and you go with the flow.

You find a new way to love. This is the real unconditional love! I do not get annoyed by her crying like i do when I hear another loud baby! I do not get mad when she decides to stay up in the mid morning to stare at you, I just stare back! I enjoy looking at her and learning her! I look forward to being with her! I could look at her all day!

Ok Enough with the mushy BABY TALK! Here is the giveaway!

Mmmm..Can it be about my nieces and nephew?

I love them all equally but I am a little sad that my nephew is the only one who knows me! I guess that's because I was around when he was born and he was my right hand man for a while.. Those nieces of mine look at me like " Umm who are you lady?" and that hurts my heart. If I was to move back to Memphis they would be the only reason. I hate that I didn't get to GooGaa them.. okay this post made me teary eyed

Hey I love this baby balm! I bought it like late October. It's great, I can honestly say that I've seen improvement on my lips. I have two wonderful lambs. A boy (Kylan 7)& a girl (Kyla 5). We are about to move into our new home. We are in the truck riding. Kyla says all I want for Christie is for God to give me my grandma back. I couldn't say anything. I'm so blessed to have them apart of our lives. They bring so much joy into our lives. #love being a mom

Okay, so I have no desire to be a mom(at the moment) but I do love my mom dearly and I love her even more when I think about how much she loves me...

I'm surrounded by lots of great mothers and their unconditional, joyful, beautifully overwhelming love.

Everyday my best friend and blogging partner(who is 7 months into her new mommy-hood) bombards me with tales of this love she never knew existed until my Godson was born.

The other day after trying to describe the new love she asked her mom , "Ma, do you still want to explode every time you see me, when I walk in the room don't you just about die?" CrazyHeart (her mom) sweetly and wisely replied, "Child please, that goes away, it changes."

I chuckled because I think it may have changed but I see how happy CrazyHeart is when she talks about her adult daughter and I see how my my mom still looks at me and I hear how her laugh is different when I deliver the punchline... *deep sigh*

Beauty, love and warmth for all!!

Motherhood is not easy but rewarding. You could never imagine the work it takes and that you will be able to do it all. I am a follower on both.

Hi! I follow on both. My son is 5 and sometimes I can't remember what life was even like before him, I think all moms feel that way. I agree, the sleep deprivation was the worst part for me too, but I promise, you will sleep in again one day!!! It gets easier as they get older too.

Thank you all for posting! I love to hear what you have to say! It helps especially with me not really having much real life socialization these days.. just baby goo goo ga ga!! LOL!

I already follow on both. I am not a mom, but I have 5 wonderful nieces and 1 newborn nephew. I loved them all instantly and even though I have no kids of my own I feel like I have a genuine motherly instinct and cant wait to have my own. I have my nieces so much everyone thinks I’m a mom anyway as most of my fb stats and images of them or about something new they did.

I follow on both! Not a mother at this point in time (hopefully in the near future) but my neices and nephew are more than a handful!!

I can only dream about what that kind of unconditional love feels like. I believe motherhood is the most important job in the world. As a mother you're a teacher, nurturer and responsible for molding your children into beautiful people. Cheers to moms of the world! :-)
